The specialized LV Group designs low voltage power transmission systems, protection and control systems, and LVDC and LVAC systems, and performs equipment and system calculations. They prepare basic documents including single line diagrams of protection and control systems, LVDC panels, LVAC panels, signal indexes, trip tables, terminal tables, cable lists, wiring lists and schematic detailed maps.

These expert engineers design high voltage substations with advanced protection and control systems and intelligent automated sets of equipment with the most advanced intelligent COMPACT and NUMERICAL systems, which in some cases are operatorless. They also configure and adjust advanced relays and develop the structure of substation automation systems based on client's needs and consultant's operational specifications.

Appropriate software is used for computations of LVDC and LVAC systems, including cable rating computations like permissible nominal current, permissible voltage drop and other cable selection restrictions, key and fuse selection computations, computations related to battery chargers, CVT and CT equipment calculations, as well as other calculations required for substation design.

Application software used by this group include battery charger computation software, LVDC and LVAC switchgear computation software, transformer current and voltage calculation software, signal list preparation software, auxiliary detailed map and schematic map design software, auxiliary relays control software and software for terminal control of schematic maps.
