In relation to the accelerating trend toward privatization in the power industry, “Repair and Maintenance Company of Khorasan Transmission Facilities” began its activity in 1376 with the objective of optimal utilization of Khorasan  electricity transmission facilities, and with the initial number of 80 employees.

Consistent with expansion and massive investments in the power industry, the company expanded its activities range from maintenance to modernization and construction of transmission facilities and within a short time became one of the best companies in the field of high voltage substation in all voltage levels up to 400 kV.

Later, the company changed its name to “Shargh Power Transmission and Telecommunication Engineering Company (Moham Shargh Company)”, and after the establishment of its subsidiary companies, it has been changed to “Moham Shargh Group of Companies”.

Ranked number one in design and construction (EPC) in the electric field, and the expansion of its domestic market from regional electrical companies to industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical and railway, leads the company to offer its turnkey construction services to projects such as power plants, high voltage substations, power transmission lines, distribution networks, distributed power generators, dispatching networks, signaling and telecommunications, construction of mobile substations, construction of low voltage and medium voltage panels, research and consultation regarding establishment of Iran’s electricity market and the power stock plan.
