HistoryYear 1997 - Regarding privatization policies of the Ministry of Energy, "Repair and Maintenance Company of Khorasan Transmission Facilities" was established to serve the need for maintenance of Khorasan Regional Electricity Network. Year 1999 - Considering the potential abilities of professionals, the capabilities of the facilities and the needs of regional electricity companies, the company got prepared to perform turnkey regional projects, and obtained the license to design and implement EPC projects. Year 2001 - The research and consultation unit was established. Year 2002 – The company's name was changed to "Shargh Power Transmission and Telecommunication Engineering Company” and the implementation of EPC projects began in the form of design and manufacture. Year 2003 - Working closely with Department of Energy and Tavanir Company, extensive actions were performed in order to set up the electricity market, the energy exchange master plan and the power stock plan. Also, the company offered services to other industries as general contractor. Year 2005 - Due to expansion of activities in various fields of electric power indusrty, and the goal of becoming a general contractor, subsidiary companies were established. Year 2007 - The first overseas project contract was signed in Iraq by Moham Shargh Group of Companies. Year 2008 - The Moham Shargh Group owned 20% of overall electric power transmission projects in the country, and it started the EPC of power plant projects by signing the contract of Islamabad 25-megawatt gas turbine generator. Year 2010 - 100 megawatt power plant construction contract of Islamabad was signed, and Moham Shargh Group obtained the permission to construct up to 1000 megawatt distributed power generators (CHP and DG) and officially entered the power plant market. Year 2011 – The contract of research, design and implementation of stock management of Iran Grid Management Company (IGMC) was signed. | |
